The Waverly Library first opened it's doors in 1971.
Forty two years later, it's time for a facelift.
Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke and Enoch Pratt Free Library director Carla Hayden be on hand to present plans the renovation of the Waverly Library later this week.
The meeting will be held at 6:15 p.m. April 11 at the Waverly Library's Community Room which is located off the Barclay Street entrance, according to an email from city councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke.
BMore Media reported back in January 2012 that a $3 million upgrade was being planned for the library.
According to the BMore Media report the library was last upgraded in 1986.
