Radio personality and former state and Baltimore City police chief Ed Norris is recuperating at home from serious injuries sustained last week in the crash of his motorcycle in rural Harford County.
The Aegis reports Steve Davis, Norris' co-host on the morning show on 105.7-FM The Fan, told listeners Monday that the Hampstead resident would be out at least through the end of the week.
Norris, 53, was injured April 24 when he swerved while attempting to avoid a truck that was making a left turn from Maryland Route 161 onto southbound Route 1. Allegedly, the truck's driver did not yield right of way. Norris was flown to shock trauma in Baltimore with serious injuries.
The driver, Dedrick Jamal McClain of Windsor Mill, was cited for failing to yield right of way.
Davis told listeners he had visited with Norris Sunday and that his co-host was recovering from injuries, including broken ribs and a bruised arm, according to The Aegis.
