As news spread Tuesday of puppeteer Kevin Clash's resignation from Sesame Street, the website TMZ reported that the resignation comes after the filing of a lawsuit against Clash by a second accuser.
TMZ reported that Cecil Singleton, the accuser named in the suit, alleges that Clash had a sexual relationship with him in 2003.
Singleton, now 24, according to the website, claims that he met Clash on a gay phone chat line, and also said that Clash "trolled" such phone chat rooms "to meet and have sex with underage boys."
Singleton is demanding more than $5 million in his lawsuit against Clash, according to TMZ.
Clash, 52, is a Turner Station native and a 1979 graduate of Dundalk High School.
