A man and his girlfriend were carjacked at gunpoint on York Road Wednesday.
According to a police report, at 11 p.m., Nov. 21, in the 5300 block of York Road, a carjacker armed with a handgun forced them out of the car before stealing the 2007 Honda Pilot.
Police later spotted the vehicle but the thief jumped out and escaped on foot.
