A pair of robbers is behind bars after knocking off two North Baltimore convenience stores in North Baltimore.
According to police, after 10- p.m. Feb. 7, the robbers targeted the 7-Eleven, located 630 W. 33rd Street. The robbers walked into the store and one of them pointed a handgun and demanded an employee open the safe.
Another robber then went behind the counter and stole cigarettes and cash from the register. After that both of the thieves ran out of the store.
Then, just after 11 p.m., the same burglars barged into the Royal Farms store, located at 1119 W. 41st Street, again armed with a gun.
One of the robbers announced: "Everything in the store is free. Get out this is a robbery."
The customers ran out of the store, and the robbers again helped themselves to cigarettes and cash from the register.
Following this incident both men were found and arrested, according to police.
Baltimore police were unable to provide details about the robbers or the circumstances of their arrests, despite multiple requests for the information by a reporter.
