Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony W. Batts received a walking tour of Waverly from the people who know it best—the residents.
Batts joined a citizen on patrol walk on Wednesday evening, along with Maj. Sabrina Tapp-Harper, the commander of the Northern District, and said community walks give him the ability to see firsthand the areas of the city addressed in Comstat meetings.
"What's really good about these walks, it gives me time to listen to the public, and allow them to tell me: 'This is the issue. This is what I'd like you to do. This is what I'd like you to take care of.' So that's why I come out," Batts said.
