This week, Patch readers sounded off on the circus, graffiti, bagels and restaurants cleanliness.

Here's what your neighbors are saying:

Towson:
“I was there, and it was an awful experience. Seeing him everyday running, and so vibrant and healthy, and then this morning he was in such bad shape. Again thank goodness for the wonderful doctors who were immediately helping him, and who thankfully were nearby when he was struck. As a runner myself it hits me in the gut, and I have been thinking of the good doc all day. Here's to you doc. A speedy recovery for you is all I am thinking about right now.” – Sallie Sweeney on Jogging Doctor Highly Regarded Among Colleagues

Perry Hall:
“Well, being a Perry Hall resident, I care if they (or anything else) get vandalized. The graffiti that is becoming more prevalent around Perry Hall speaks to the quality of life around here. It is the "broken window syndrome." A little graffiti here, a little there, pretty soon it is all over the place. And having seen it, the 'phallic symbol' drawn on the pavement is wonderful, too.

Think about driving to Perry Hall to see a house for sale and seeing such graffiti. Wouldn't that just encourage you to move here immediately?” – Evets on Seven Courts Speed Camera Vandalized Again

Essex-Middle River:
"Dumb and Dumber."— Teech on Essex Woman Charged After Being Identified Via Facebook

Dundalk:
"Thank you Mr. Staab. I agree with all that is stated. We don't need buildings and property that support Rec and Parks to be turned into retail space. We have enough empty retail space now."— Paula Sexton on Letter to Dundalk Residents" Wake Up!

Lutherville-Timonium:
" ... Opting for circuses without animals is a choice more and more people are making. There is so much fun to have in life without having to cage, expolit, and abuse animals." -- Ann Roberts on Chick-fil-A Contest: Win a Chance To Be Guest Ringmaster

Pikesville:
"So glad it will "live on" ... even if Geoff will not be the owner. Hate to see empty stores." -Cheryl Wapner Cohen via Facebook on Update: Quarry Bagel & Cafe Is Sold

Owings Mills-Reisterstown:
“The reality of it is that MOST restaurants and food handling facilities incur mouse and insect infestations over time. Due to food inside and garbage outside coupled with doors and humans they are like free supermarkets for these pests. Well run establishments DO take precautions to eliminate or prevent them and to promptly remove them if they occur but even the best places have to work at it…Yes, the thought is less than pleasant but even 5 star restaurants deal with this so the only way to completely avoid this is to never eat out (you never get a mouse or bug in your own home) - yea, right.” – Michael Mooney on Why Did Bill Bateman’s Close Last Week?
